Basic Bidding Information
"Song Bidding Competition" is the page where the list of songs being bid on for the Rock-afire Explosion to perform are listed.
"Winning Songs" is the page where the songs which have won the bidding and have been choreographed and video taped are listed. One or two of these may still be in process at any particular time.
"Our Policy on Dirty Songs" is self explanatory.
For a song to win, the bidding for that song must reach at least $200, but, we really hope the bids will reach much higher levels eventually as an average song takes about a week of work or more. We are always working on the song(s) at the top of the list. We will keep selecting songs to do as we finish one and are planning to eventually be completing one new song a week regardless of whether the bids are low or high. We will be adding choreographers to the team to help produce these videos, so you will see the pace of videos being produced pick up over the coming months. At present we are averaging one fan bid song a month.
The song with the highest total bids will be meticulously programmed, and produced as a video and posted on the "fanprograms" channel on YouTube. If your song is not today's winner, the bids will be carried over to tomorrow, and into the future, increasing its chances of eventually winning. The money collected from these bids will be used to compensate the choreographers for their work and to maintain their Rock-afire Explosions and possibly pay for beer and child support.
To place a bid for a song, please send your donation/bid of any amount ($5.00 minimum) by PayPal to aaron.fechter@gte.net. You will find a PayPal button at the bottom of this page.
On the PayPal site you can state the name of the song/artist you are bidding to have choreographed and videotaped. When bids are received for songs, the song titles and total bid amounts will be listed here as soon as possible, and you will receive an email notifying you that your bid has been received and posted. Good luck bidding.
